CAIRO: rendez-vous June 2000
Béatrice organised this one-off trip to introduce her pupils to the magic of Cairo, the splendour of the Pharaohs, the Coptic spirituality and the grandeur of Islamic architecture.

Over and above the originality of several exceptional visits, this trip was a quest - an initiation for participants from Belgium, Italy, the United Kingdom, Greece, Spain and Argentina, giving coherence to all the time, energy and spirit they had devoted to Egyptian dance.

Sharqi There were daily dance workshops accompanied by superb sharqi, baladi and sha'abi orchestras.
